Your Spring Reset Starts Here

Sometimes it all gets too much. The stress piles up, the to-do list multiplies, and even the most ambitious of us hotties just need to stop, breathe, and reset. So if you're overdue an exhale, here are a few things worth trying:

Be where your feet are.

You can't rewrite the past, and obsessing over the future is a fast track to exhaustion. Try this instead: pause and ask yourself what's actually going on right now. What are you proud of? What milestones have quietly stacked up to get you here? Even a few minutes of genuine gratitude can shift your perspective because it's probably not all doom and gloom, even when it feels that way.

Your hobby era is calling, pick up!

Being asked "what do you do for fun?" shouldn't feel like a trick question. Being consistent with making time for enjoyment isn't frivolous; on the contrary, it's protective. It keeps burnout at arm's length and gives your brain somewhere to decompress after adulting all day. It doesn't need to be aesthetic or expensive either. Drawing, reading, photography, scrapbooking, crocheting - just pick something low-pressure to start for the sole purpose of enjoying yourself.

If you enjoy being social (or have that as one of your goals) you can look up fun places to visit in your area which are free or affordable to visit, from art classes to museums to book club meets. It’s time to BE outside, girl!

Think bouquets, not blocks

Stop waiting for a big two-hour window that probably isn't coming. Think of your time like a florist building a lush bouquet; start with the big stems, then tuck the smaller ones into the gaps. Thirty minutes in the morning, another thirty in the evening. It adds up. The goal isn't a perfect schedule; it's a fuller day.

Declutter your day

Take an honest look at how you're spending your time. The hours lost to aimless scrolling, online window shopping for nothing in particular (save your coin, babes) -  it all adds up.

Clear out what drains you, and you might be surprised by the pockets of time that suddenly appear. A workout. A TV show you've been meaning to watch. Actual rest.

Move your body. Your mind will thank you

No one has ever finished a workout and thought I wish I hadn't done that. Exercise releases a whole cocktail of mood-boosting chemicals that are genuinely good for your brain. If you don't know where to start, try walking -  it's underrated, accessible, and it counts.

The ARA NINI ladies recently did a Girls Walk and Chat in London for spring, and it was so fab (and much needed for the mind & soul)!  No matter the movement, whether it be cardio, weights, pilates, move consistently. Fallen off lately? That's okay. The beautiful thing about tomorrow is that it always presents an opportunity for a fresh start.

Caring for your mind is important. Start somewhere, start small & aim to grow with time, and give yourself grace while you do.

Thank you for reading,

See you in the next one.
