Our aim is to create safe spaces for women in our communities to learn about their health and how to advocate for themselves. For many of us growing up, our health was not a topic of conversation.
The lack of education begins from early years with many topics not being discussed, many myths and taboos surrounding periods, our bodies, fertility, gynaecological conditions to name a few.

Meet our founder
Dr Joyce Omatseye
Dr. Joyce Omatseye is a medical doctor based in the United Kingdom. She combines her medical expertise with a passion for health education and advocacy and has leveraged her platforms to educate her audience on crucial health topics, amassing a network of over 70,000 followers across social media platforms. She is particularly passionate about sharing her journey, education in mental health, women's health, debunking myths and taboos, and promoting diversity and representation in the field of medicine. Through these sessions, women have been equipped with the knowledge and confidence to make informed decisions about their health.

Driven by her belief in accessible and understandable health information, she has collaborated with esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organization's Africa division, UNICEF and Arise News. She is part of the YouTube Health Accelerator and a member of WHO Fides which aims to combat misinformation of health information online globally.
Recognizing the need for safe spaces for women to learn and discuss their health, Dr Omatseye founded ARA NINI Health. Through this initiative, she curates’ environments where women can engage in important health discussions. The initiative launched its inaugural events in Lagos, Nigeria and London. She also founded CYT Health, which aims to support women in the healthcare space
through all aspects of their career and personal development.

Dr Omatseye's commitment to healthcare excellence extends beyond her clinical practice. Her interests encompass quality improvement in healthcare, digital health, and public health. With a resolute drive to reduce inequalities, she hopes to continue to create safe spaces for women to have conversations across several important topics and areas.
For many of us, we feel the most comfortable when we look after ourselves and when we gather with our friends and family.
By having these open conversations, we hope that our community will not only learn but spread the word and teach their loved ones too.
